Mission and Beliefs

Blessed Sacrament School Mission

The mission of Blessed Sacrament School is to foster the Catholic identity of the students through the teachings of the Catholic Church and to educate students according to high academic standards preparing them to serve God, the Church and the world.

Beliefs

1.The school’s Catholic identity is the primary focus of all decisions impacting the effort of the school.

2.Catholic values are reflected in every facet of the school giving foundation for the faith development of each student and opportunities to live the Faith.

3.The school and church community share responsibility for allowing the spirit of the Gospel to permeate the school and beyond.

4.The school is committed to the development of the whole child spiritually, intellectually, emotionally and physically.

5.High academic standards are set by continuously improving the curriculum.

6.Students learn in different ways and should be taught through a child-centered, individual approach.

7.The school believes that God's love is unconditional and respects that everyone is a unique child of God.

8.Faith is a lifelong journey.

9.The school recognizes that parents are the primary educators of their children.


History of Blessed Sacrament
Blessed Sacrament School was established in 1939 with three classrooms and two sisters of mercy as the first faculty. Today, we enjoy both a lower and upper school with an enrollment of approximately 400 students and a faculty of over thirty qualified staff members.
