Welcome to Blessed Sacrament School.

Principal, Lynn C. Brown, inspired by the superpowers of Pre-K

Blessed Sacrament is a school rich in history, tradition, and the Catholic faith. We are located in beautiful Savannah, GA in the Ardsley Park Community. Our location is central to the historic district at the intersection of Victory Drive and Waters Avenue and is easily accessible to the islands of Wilmington and Tybee, as well as the south side of Savannah.

Our school was established in 1939 with three classrooms and two sisters of Mercy as the first faculty in the old St. Vincent’s Convent. Today there are two sections of each grade level from Pre-K through 8th grades with a current enrollment of approximately 435 students. We have a staff of nearly sixty qualified professionals who strive to provide an environment where every child can learn and experience success.

We are accredited SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools).

The school offers a rigorous faith-based, academic program. The curriculum includes religion, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, computer instruction, music, art, physical education, and health. Character building activities are offered such as Honor Society, Lighthouse Leadership (formerly Student Council), Safety Patrol, Girl Scouts, Boy/Cub Scouts and Intramural & Community Sports.   Athletics include Basketball, Football, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Track & Field, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Flag Football and Pep Squad Cheerleading. Students are exposed to the fine arts through field trips, author visits, plays and musical experiences. Community enhancing experiences include parish dinners, holiday parties and socials, and various annual school events like our Halloween Hoedown.   A stimulating extended day program is provided for students before and after school as well in the summer.

In partnership with our parents and guided by our faith, we offer a safe, nurturing environment at Blessed Sacrament preparing our children for life! With over 70 years of curricular excellence, we truly believe in all that Blessed Sacrament has to offer.

Come see us!
